The press filter press is a common solid-liquid separation equipment, mainly used for separating solid particles from liquids. Its working principle is as follows:
At the beginning of the work, the mixture to be processed (including solid particles and liquids) is fed into the filter cloth area of the filter press through the feeding port, and the filter cloth is covered on the filter plate.
2. There is a feeding system at the inlet that can control the flow rate and speed of the feed. The mixture to be processed will be evenly distributed onto the filter cloth through the feeding system, forming a layer of uniformly thick filter cake on the filter cloth.
3.When a certain thickness of filter cake is formed on the filter cloth, the feeding system stops feeding and the feeding pressure also stops.
4.At this point, begin the pressure filtration operation. Apply a certain pressure to the filter cake through the pressure buffer at the top, forming a filtering pressure around the filter cake.
5. The pressure of the filter press will gradually transfer from the top to the bottom of the filter cake, and the liquid will permeate through the filter cloth and be adsorbed and collected by the pores on the filter cloth. Solid particles remain on the filter cloth to form a filter cake.
